FAW 2 day Refresher course overview
Students will be taught and assessed in both primary and secondary care skills, treatment of workplace medical emergencies and basic health and safety regulations. This course is interactive with the delegates practicing life saving procedures.

Control of bleeding (bandaging, wounds and shock)
Continuing the circle of care
Illness assessment (Diabetic and Epileptic conditions)
Head and chest injuries
Neck and back injuries
Soft Tissue Injuries
Duties of a First Aider
First Aid kit (practical exercise)
Record Keeping (Accident book)
This course is delivered over 12 contact hours (2 days Minimum) and includes an independent assessment.
A minimum of 6 delegates – a maximum of 12 delegates.
